According to the recently approved master planning scheme for the M\u0169i N\u00e9 National Tourist Area<\/strong>, the development vision aims to make the destination one of Asia-Pacific\u2019s leading tourism hubs by 2050<\/strong>, built on modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly infrastructure.<\/p>\r\n

The plan focuses on developing beach resorts, water sports, and sand dune experiences<\/strong>, while preserving Ch\u0103m cultural heritage, coastal community traditions,<\/strong> and local festivals<\/strong> \u2014 all contributing to M\u0169i N\u00e9\u2019s unique identity.<\/p>\r\n

With a \u201cgreen, clean, and sustainable\u201d vision, the development prioritises green spaces, natural landscapes,<\/strong> and the protection of cultural and historical landmarks<\/strong>, ensuring a balanced growth between tourism and urban development.<\/p>\r\n

By 2030<\/strong>, the M\u0169i N\u00e9 National Tourist Area is projected to host 200,000 residents<\/strong>, covering 9,909 hectares<\/strong> of land, including 1,773 hectares for tourism services<\/strong> and 41,000 hotel rooms<\/strong>. By 2040<\/strong>, the population is expected to reach 300,000<\/strong>, with 12,986 hectares of land<\/strong> and 71,500 hotel rooms<\/strong> dedicated to tourism.<\/p>\r\n

The master plan also defines land-use strategies, infrastructure development, and key investment priorities to turn this ambitious vision into reality \u2014 positioning M\u0169i N\u00e9 as a global icon of Vietnam\u2019s tourism industry.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n
